Terms of Service

Fix Min Bil is a matchmaking platform. We act as an intermediary — connecting car owners with independent workshops. The repair agreement and payment for the repair are made directly between the car owner and the chosen workshop, off-platform. Fix Min Bil is not a party to the repair contract.

CAR OWNERS

It is free to create a profile and post jobs on Fix Min Bil. We charge no fees to car owners.

The Quote-Honoured commitment: A submitted fixed quote from a workshop is binding on the workshop within the quote's validity period. The final invoice must not exceed the quoted amount by more than 5% without your explicit prior approval as the car owner. Workshops that accept a booking through the platform commit to this standard.

Flagging a violation: If you receive an invoice that exceeds the quote by more than 5% without your prior approval, you can report it through the platform. We will investigate. Repeated violations result in the workshop losing its badge.

Platform liability boundary: Fix Min Bil facilitates the match and provides the quoting framework — we do not guarantee the quality of the repair or any other aspect of the workshop's performance. Your legal remedies regarding the repair itself lie against the relevant workshop, not against Fix Min Bil. The platform is also not liable for loss resulting from poor repair quality, delays, or damage caused by the workshop.

Complaints and dispute resolution: You are welcome to contact us at info@mediamax.dk with complaints about the platform. For disputes concerning the repair contract entered into with the workshop, you may be able to refer the matter to the Danish Consumer Complaints Board (Nævnenes Hus) at forbrug.dk for cases falling within the scope of those complaint schemes.

Right of withdrawal: Car owners' use of the platform is free, and no payment is made to Fix Min Bil — there is therefore nothing to withdraw in relation to us. The repair contract is with the relevant workshop, and any right of withdrawal in that context is governed by the workshop's own terms and applicable law.

WORKSHOPS

Subscription: Access to Fix Min Bil's job feed costs 750 DKK/month excl. VAT, billed via Stripe. The subscription activates once you have had 2 jobs booked (the first 2 booked jobs are a free usage-based trial of the marketplace). Sign up by creating a profile and completing the payment setup in your dashboard.

What the subscription includes: Access to the job feed with relevant jobs, the ability to submit fixed quotes, and eligibility for the Quote-Honoured badge.

Pricing: Each workshop sets its own prices for all services freely and independently. Fix Min Bil does not set, suggest, cap, or impose minimum or maximum prices of any kind. The workshop has full and independent pricing freedom. This is a fundamental condition of using the platform.

The Quote-Honoured badge: By submitting a quote through the platform, the workshop commits that the final invoice will not exceed the quote by more than 5% without the car owner's explicit prior approval. Violations may be reported by the customer. Repeated violations result in loss of the badge at the operator's discretion.

Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard. Access continues until the end of the already-paid subscription period. No refund is given for remaining days in a current billing period.

Termination for cause: Fix Min Bil may terminate a workshop agreement with immediate effect for serious breach, including fraud, repeated badge violations, or other conduct that harms the platform's users or integrity.

Independent business: The workshop is an independent business. This agreement does not create an employment, agency, or partnership relationship between the workshop and Fix Min Bil.

GENERAL

Governing law and jurisdiction: These terms are governed by Danish law. Any disputes shall be resolved by the Danish courts.

Amendments: We will give at least 14 days' notice of material changes to these terms, by email or via a prominent notice on the platform. Continued use of the platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the amended terms.
